Simple and tasty dill pickles are a great addition to any sandwich!
INGREDIENTS:
3 ½ cups water
1 ¼ cups white vinegar
1 Tbs sugar
1 Tbs sea salt
1 bag of pickling cucumbers (about a dozen cucumbers)
3 cloves garlic, whole
1/2 of a medium white onion, sliced
2 heads fresh dill
DIRECTIONS:
In a small saucepan combine water, vinegar, sugar, and sea salt together over high heat. Bring to a boil and then remove from the heat and cool completely.
Cut the cucumbers into coins or spears (whichever you prefer)
Combine cut cucumber, garlic cloves, sliced onion, and fresh dill in a large glass jar or container.
Pour cooled vinegar mixture over cucumber mixture. Seal container tight with the lid and refrigerate overnight before enjoying!
